Spring Sing!
Our first ever Phoenix Spring Sing took place on Friday 31 May 2024, 7.30pm onwards, Station Hall Herne Hill
What was it?
An open mic night party in aid of Phoenix! Pianist Isaac Bartels played a bunch of musical theatre hits that we can sing along to together as a group. There was also the opportunity to sing a solo, duet or small group. Oh, and a bar. A cheap bar!
How was it?
Firstly, it was fun! A chance to sing a bunch of songs we never get to do in shows, and to catch up with Phoenixers old and new. Secondly, it was a fundraiser! Every penny we made will now go back into our future shows, ensuring we can perform in awesome theatres in awesome costumes and sound awesome. So we got to party and feel good about it too!
