The Wicked Baron Snatcher and his henchmen overthrow the benign Grand Old Duke of York (and his ten thousand men) with the help of the nasty fairy Maleficent and it looks as if evil and chaos shall rule. But the Gypsy Boy, Colin, aided by the good Witch Old Mother Shipton, thwarts the Barons plans and it all ends happily.
