Can you help us to raise some funds?

Phoenix Players is a not-for-profit community theatre group, based in south London. We’re an inclusive community which welcomes people from all backgrounds to join us, and we’ve been running for more than 40 years.

In Phoenix, people can build new skills and grow their confidence, perform for their friends and family, and have fun together making musical theatre. We work hard to ensure that being part of Phoenix is financially accessible to local people, including maintaining concessionary rates for anyone who wants them.

But since the Covid-19 pandemic, sharp increases in costs like theatre hire have put significant pressure on our small financial reserves. And because there are few grants available to arts organisations, we fund our activities through ticket and bar sales paid by our audiences, rehearsal fees paid by our cast, and through generous donations from people like you.

We know that what we do makes a huge difference to our community. We have countless testimonials about the impact of Phoenix on our members’ mental health and wellbeing, reducing loneliness and bringing people together. But we need your help to keep us financially strong, so we can keep our ticket prices down and keep making shows for you to enjoy.

If you would like to help us meet the costs of putting on our shows, please, please consider donating. Every little helps!
